To apply for a study permit, you need to take the following steps:
- Complete a study permit application. Make sure that all forms are carefully and completely filled.
- Ensure that all the documents mentioned in the document checklist are enclosed
- If applying from Quebec: you would also need a Quebec Certificate of Acceptance or CAQ issued by the Quebec immigration minister.
- Include the processing fees for study permit.
- Make sure the application is duly signed and dated
- Consult visa office to see if any additional forms or additional documents are needed
- Submit the application, fees and the documents to a Canadian embassy visa office, high commission or consulate responsible for the country in which you are living.
- Some selected foreign nationals can apply from the Canadian Port of Entry.
- If the visa office asks for any additional documents, supply it at the earliest.
